Let us bring the island to you Many classes do not get a chance to come to the island for a field trip. Our program brings the island to you and your class. Learn all about our bottlenose dolphin family that we have studied now for five years and enjoy marine life, hands on, as we bring them with us to the classroom. Learn about the nature of South Padre Island with our inclass program...

This beautiful creature is one of the most well known marine animals in the world, as you might of guessed its the starfish this pirticular specias is known as the Banded Sea Star it takes its name from the yellow and black bands on its top-side.

Also if you have a field trip planned to the island and would like guided beachwalks or a guided tour at the coastal studies lab or of the nature trail boardwalk just give us a call for the different fees. Whether we meet you on the island or in the classroom our goal is environmental and eco-education . Each child can be nutured to love and take care of nature by expereincing it....to have the chance to know and understand the unique nature of the world around us is the key to keeping the world a better place for generations to come...
